After the success of Dave and Amy’s previous text series ‘My English book and me’, they wanted to go further to make it feature-rich while improving the flow and function of the books. Enter: Picture dictionary 2 - a text for early learners which can adapt and serve as a supplemental text for middle to advanced learners.
Each ‘Unit’ introduces on average 8-9 new words with relevant conversation examples in the form of easy to follow questions and answers. The phonics element of the book is depicted alongside each illustration as a ‘hint’ letter or letter combination, this assists individuals who are already readers while at the same time subtly introducing the characters to beginners.
